The Ruut series was born out of the need to have a truly versatile bike. One that is comfortable enough for backpacking and long-distance rides, yet has a distinctly sporty character. At Rondo, all are competitive athletes - they ride fast, they race - but they don't need a bike for the CX World's. What Rondo expects from a drop-bar bike is that it can ride long and fast, especially on rough roads. After more than two years of development, they have developed a tool that they believe is the ultimate solution for real-world riders.
Entry-level all-rounder
The RUUT AL2 is a great all-rounder for beginners. It is the perfect choice for a winter training bike, a commuter bike, or a first gravel bike, with bridge-less seat stays and a full set of fenders, racks, and bottle mounts. The frame is made of lightweight and robust aluminum in new, sleek colors. The components were selected and tested for their reliability. These include the user-friendly REVER MCX flat-mount brakes, the same V2 forks as the higher models, a simple and reliable 1x11 drivetrain, an FSA crankset, and mud-resistant WTB Nano tires. This bike is responsive and has elegant internal cable routing for a clean finish. We guarantee you will collect many miles with this model.
